As the holiday
season begins, the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library would first like to wish
everybody a happy Thanksgiving!
To allow
everyone enough time to make their way over the river and through the woods, as
well as to enjoy the holiday, the Library will be closing at 5 PM Wednesday. The Library will remain closed all day Thursday
and Friday but will reopen for normal operating hours Saturday, November 29
beginning at 9:30 AM. To accommodate the
closure, no items will be due on the two closed days.
During this
time, we will likely receive a lot of returns in our drop boxes and it will
take more time than usual to check it all in when we return Saturday. Because of this, we would like to ask that
you have patience and not be too concerned if it takes more time than usual for
returned items to be cleared off of your account. We will also be treating all returns during
the holiday as if they were returned on Wednesday.
And so, you
can be thankful for no library-related worries this Thanksgiving and we hope
you will enjoy the time with family, friends, food, football, or anything else with
which you choose to fill your day.
