Learn About Herbs at the Library

This July, don’t miss a couple of exciting chances to learn about growing herbs. First, whether you want oregano for your spaghetti sauce, cilantro for your salsa, or lavender for you potpourri, Master Gardener and garden designer Amy Mullen can help you plant the perfect herb garden. Join us on July 17th for an introductory-level seminar to learn more about cultivating common garden herbs.
Next, learn how herbs can heal. Have you ever wondered about which herbs to take for which ailments? If so, licensed practical nurse, holistic health practitioner, and master herbalist Dee Weis will cover the basics of herbal medicine, discussing safety issues and how to select herbal medicines. A beginner's guide to herbs will be raffled off to one lucky participant!
Please register for both of these programs, either online (click here for Herb Gardens and here for Herbal Medicine 101) or by calling 317-873-3149.
