Indiana State Museum Library Pass

There’s always something new at the Library, but this is truly an inspired idea!  The Library is participating in a pilot program with the Indiana State Museum and 9 other central Indiana libraries to offer library customers a pass which allows free admission to the museum.  The pass entitles you to 4 complimentary general admission tickets to the Museum, as well as a special parking rate of $3 at the White River State Park parking garage. Special exhibits at the museum may require an additional fee. The pilot program begins today, April 1 (no joke!) and continues through December 31st, 2014.  The response to this program will then be evaluated, and hopefully the program will continue.

We encourage you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.  The pass appears in the catalog under Indiana State Museum library pass; it cannot be placed on hold.  The pass is checked out for 1 week and is not renewable. There are two passes available, but please, one pass per family.  The pass may be picked up at the Youth Services Reference Desk on the 1st floor. Take the pass with you to the Museum and present it at the ticket counter to receive your admission tickets and validated parking, good for that day only. Please return the pass to the library as soon as possible so that others may participate in this program. We hope you will enjoy your visit to the museum and share its many offerings with your family or friends.
