Shelf-Reading Party in Youth Services

Librarians love summer reading—the Library is always bustling, our favorite books are never on the shelves, so many books are checked out that we hardly have a chance to put them back on the shelves!

Since our shelves were so loved during the hustle and bustle of Summer Reading, our shelves are now in need of lots of time and attention.

The Youth Services Staff is having a shelf reading party to get the books back in order. If you know your ABC’s and 1,2,3’s, we could use your talents! You can help us organize the books so that we can actually find them!  Also, we will also be offering pizza and salad for lunch, and snacks at other times of the day to keep us going.

You can shelf read any time Friday, August 31.  We do ask that you register so that we know how much food to order.  Don't worry if you've never participated in a shelf reading party before, we will train you in all of the specifics.  You can commit to as much or as little time as you want…every little bit counts!

Thanks in advance, we won't be able to complete this project without your help!
