Start at the Welcome Table* GREEN BALLOONS
The welcome table will be in the center of the 5th Street parking lot with GREEN BALLOONS!. Librarians will be passing out FREE CARNIVAL GAME TICKETS provided by the Friends of the Library and a special clothespin to trade a for Whole Foods Gift bag- Limited to the first 400 kids.

Tickets for Whole Foods gift cards will be given to each adult and non walking child.
Because the Adults and non walkers can't enjoy carnival games they get a chance for Free Food from Whole Foods! Each adult and non walking child will receive a ticket to fill out for a $25 Whole Foods Gift Card drawing announced every 15 minutes beginning at 5:45.

(Adults, if you write your email or phone # on the raffle ticket we will contact you- you do not need to be present to win but you must pick up your Whole Foods Gift Card by August 30th)

There are nine carnival tickets to spend at a wide variety of activities with great prizes thanks to the Friends of the Library. The Wild River Ride will be back to race fish down the raging waters, bounce house for both toddlers/preschool and elementary age bouncers, duck pond, face painting, touchdown toss, basketball throw, button making, and more will be available to spend your tickets.
You do not arrive late! We end promptly at 7 pm!
This will be a great time to thank our fabulous Teen Volunteers who will be wearing an orange Teen Volunteer Corp T-shirt. They committed over 800 hours in Youth Services passing out prizes, shelving books, and cheering on your reading kids this summer!
Bring a couple dollars if you would like to purchase drinks and hot dogs. Relax and enjoy live music while you visit with all your Library friends.

We had another fantastic and record breaking year for Summer Reading! On Saturday, July 26th the prize room was cleaned up (cleaned out!) and will be waiting for you next year. We will post results next week after we finish the tally of over 2,100 readers!
Those who have recorded 50+ books, hours or days received 11+ prizes and were eligible for the Grand Prize drawing. The winner will be posted at the Carnival-She has been picked and excitedly accepted the prize! We are happy for her. Such a great group of readers this year!
