Changes to Youth Services

Doesn’t the Library feel more spacious now as you enter by the fish tank?  Youth Services is transitioning some areas to better utilize the space that we have.  We are looking forward to adding an early literacy center, a tween area and lots of color on the walls!

If you are interested in being a part of the upcoming changes to the Library you can donate $50 in honor of our 50 years of service.  Money will be used to make improvements to the youth department this year and the teen department next year.  Envelopes can be found at any reference or circulation desk.  Checks should be made payable to HMMPL.

During transition times, things might not be where you expect them to be.  If you are having trouble finding what you are looking for, please feel free to ask the Youth Librarians—the Librarians love to help!

Painting starts today while the Library is closed for staff training.  You might want to pop in tomorrow to see how things are looking!
